Your new employer established near Den Bosch is looking for a talented software tester! My client is a global pioneer in Electronic Bill Presentment (EBP), Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and personalised billing software solutions. Their main customers are telecom providers, who use the software as a solution for their B2B customers. My client’s solutions help to strengthen the business relationship between telecom providers and their B2B customers and delivers concrete bottom-line benefits to both.
The organisation currently counts a team of 45 enthusiastic people in the Netherlands and a team of 25 people in India. They are devoted to their work, they want to be the best in class. As a functional software tester, you will be part of the IT team with about 20 motivated (international) colleagues. Because quality is one of their core values, a quality assurance team has been established to ensure this high quality standard. Due to the rapid growth of the company, they need you to strengthen this team!
Besides testing, you will have a lot of direct contact with their customers. Together with the customer you will conduct acceptance tests and discuss the results with the development team. Also, you will provide second line support and work in close collaboration with other stakeholders within the organisation. This position offers great diversity in which creating test cases and testing is their main responsibility.
- Bachelor degree
- At least 2 years of working experience in functional software testing
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile / Scrum
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Knowledge about SQL
- ISTQB (or similar) certified
- Experience with test management/bug tracking systems like HPQC or Jira
- Experience with exploratory testing is preferred

You love testing software and are able to track, analyse and translate bugs to the developers like nobody else. Reporting about your findings is no problem and you have a strong eye for detail.
